Experiencing the loss of a loved one or a significant life transition can be profoundly painful and overwhelming.Grief counselling provides a supportive space to explore emotions, honour the experience of loss, and gently find ways to move towards healing and a sense of peace. Everyone experiences grief differently, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Therapy offers a space to be fully seen and understood, without judgment. Through a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, clients can explore their emotions safely and gain insight into their emotional experience, while being supported to be with their grief and move through it with care and support. My work draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Schema Therapy, depending on what is most helpful for the individual. Sessions are available in Brookvale or online via Zoom. Even in the midst of profound loss, therapy can support a gradual reconnection with inner strength and capacity, allowing space for healing to unfold at its own pace.
